The shop said they'll check Tuesday when I bring it in to see if they have any hubrings that are the right size. They said most rims that require hub rings come with them but the TenzoR's don't. If they have some that fit they'll put them on for free. If they don't then I'll just go to discount tire and order some. My lugs should be okay for a while if I need to order them I would think.

99.99% Sure that it's NOT a balance issue. Some tire guys are dumb, but they're not THAT dumb. They know they have to balance EVERY tire they mount.

But I'm 1000% sure that its the rings that you need, that will fix it.

Also, IMHO I'd take them off and put your stockies back on. But hey that's just me,... the car should handle right, and not drive like a massager.

Dude, get hubcentric adapters QUICKLY. Limit the amount of time you drive the car until you get those installed. You cannot mount wheels properly unless you center them. Without the hubcentric wheels, it is impossible to truely center the wheel.

With hubcentric adapters, the weight of car is carried on the HUB of the wheel. Without them, the weight of the car rests on the LUG STUDS. This is NOT SAFE. Let me say that again. IT IS NOT SAFE.

Do not worry about wheel balance until you get those hubcentric adapters intalled.

Any suggestions on where to get the best hub rings for an 05 Tib?

How do I get the center bore size of the Tib hub and the right size for the aftermarket rim?

I would contact the maker or dealer of the rim.. whichever you bought it from.

If, for some reason, you are unable to find the hub diameter of your wheels, go to a local DiscountTire. They find out what hub rings you'll need through trial and error.

alright guys, so they have a set of hubcentric rings at Bauer Built for me. I will put them on. It will not help as my car is in the garage disassembled becuz of the clutch that i am putting in next week. It has been like that for a month or so. Only drove car like 2 weeks without the rings.. so i am lucky still. Thx alot guys, i noticed it is like impossible to get the wheel perfectly level on the car, ether it is on one side or the other. Making it wobble. So hopefully this will fix my problems!!!! THX!! laugh.gif

i have the same problem. i got my kumho MX's and now they're shaking more and more. i thought about re-balancing, but what could have caused this in the first place? thanks for notifying and bringing this up.

are hubcentric rings those plastic caps in the center or the rim?
