Depends on if you have captive rotors and what the offset is. You should be fine with that size otherwise. It is only slightly bigger than stock.

why the hell would you put a 205 on a 8" wheel? the tire would be all stretched and retarded looking.

i had 205s on my 8" wheels on my srt for like a week and then bought wider tires.

i dont think a 8" wheel with a 35 offset will work on a tib unless your on stock suspension.

but if your going to get a 205 tire, get a 7" wide wheel to match the tire

7.5" in terms of width of wheel is the most i would ever go.

I run 205/40/17's on a 17x7.5" rim with offset of 45.

if you can find a rim that is 17 x7 with a offset of 40 running a 205/40/17 is what the norm is i think done on the tiburon. at least, that is what i normally see and is known to work the best.

even two people with the same wheel tire combo, one will have a problem with rubbing, the other won't. it never seems to amaze me some of the querky shit we find with these tiburon's sometimes.

I have a 17x7 with a 205/40 and running stock equipment, but the offset is 38mm. Still I haven't had any adverse effects of the extra 2mm or thinner tires. I wanted 215's but the cost was almost double what I paid. This far though I have no complaints.
