I was just wondering if 235's would be too wide.

I got some 17's from my friend and they came with 205's on them but they are really worn down. But he gave me a set of 235 dunlops witch are pretty new. But I'm not sure if I want to put them on or just use the worn tires for a bit (They still have some traction and are safe to use for a few months) and sell them.

I would probably just get 205's again.

Thanks

235's will be too wide on a tib, you'll get rubbing while you turn and all that. If I'm recalling my facts correctly here 205's are stock and 215's are also ok, anything above that and you'll get some rubbing.

Why are you asking us what companies sell tires for.

Why don't you type in your browser: www.google.com

And find out! nana.gif

Well,

I ran with kdw 2's in a 225/45/16 for about a month and it did rub, but only because my car is lowered about 3". If you have stock springs and stock ride height, it might be worth a try.

I know that in the rear I had to run a 1/4" spacer to keep the tire from rubbing on my ksports too.

The tires rubbed on the fenders, even AFTER I rolled them. They didn't rub when I turned unless I hit a large bump and the tire went up and hit the fender. The front and rear of my fender well never got rubbed even when turning all the way in both directions.

I would have to say get 215's.

Well My car is lowerd 1.5 inches. So it might rub.

Wouldn't fatter tires cause worse gas mileage? Or would that be barely noticable? Â
