Load and psi do have the most impact on contact patch. Well camber too, but a properly inflated wide tire is still going to have more contact patch than a properly inflated skinnier tire. Alot of folks minimze the contact patch because they don't run the right psi for their particular setup.

I have 325 width BFG Drag Radials on the back of the Vette. Totally unnecessarily for the power that car puts out, but totally cool. lmao.gif

If you are just going to use them at the track I would say you'd be fine. You wouldn't be hitting any bumps while turning that could cause the tires to hit the fenders so.

Considering that they are only going to be about 10mm taller you should have no problems, especially since you would probably be running 25 or less PSI.

it all depends on the offset of the rims, not just tire size, hell offset of the rims is MORE important. \

we need more info to answer your question correctly.
