Bridgestone RE71s.. great grip, poor tread wear

Perelli P Zero Nero.. so far great grip and almost no signs of wear (after 9 months)

Yes, I buy expensive tyres. I look at it this way, they are the only thing between me and street. Without those four small patches of rubber, all the brakes, suspension, and engine work in the world are not going to get you safely down the road.

 

I've ran my Yoko AVID H4 (now H4s) for 3 winters. They perform decent. But I've also crashed a few times, b/c I was messing around. They don't hold on ice at all, or going uphill. Grips well on light/wet snow though.

Mine at on 17" rims, maybe also a reason for the bad performance.

I'm debating on winter tires, it's good to give my white rims some break from abuse. I'll be going steelies, but i'm not so into that look. Plus I have to fish out some $$$.

PS: I vote Yoko since they have good tread.

 

i just bought some bf goodrich g-force t/a kdw's, 2 this paycheck, 2 more next one, i don't have em in yet, but i see a lot of high priced cars with em, such as the svt cobras and shit, and they got great reviews and good specs on tirerack. i'd go with the grippiest if i were you, like mad machine said, tires are way too important to skimp on.

the last 3 sets have been hangook k104 but now with the new power i dont know what to get ahhh

 

I use the 205-45-16 P-Nero's. I bought them for $360. Great traction, even in the rain, and the wear is not bad IF you rotate them consistently. I love these tires alot. I think they feel better then Dunlop, Falken, Toyo, and even Yokohama (I have tried them all).
