Tibby Suspension Project
well once i get the whole lighting up front done, clear corners and HID's for the foglights (couldnt find any bulbs to match the HIDs, HID's are addictive 02.gif ) ill be moving onto the suspension
some info before you read on, first time i've done this kind of thing so somewhat confused on the different things available
first off, strut bar's, figured kspec front and rear
the front strut bar... for a future air-ram, does the kspec bar clear it ok? or does it have clearance issues
next off, those 1.2" drop eibach springs off ebay with GR-2 struts?
now this whole combo sorta loses me, figured they would be ok together since everyone talks about them lol, but then i noticed that eibach also gots these pro damper kits and all so now i have no clue what would be better, its for street use so nothing thats gona drop it to like half a inch off the ground and it feels like your riding with no suspension its so hard
and then to top it off eibachs sway bar kit
well... thats my little track plan for the upcomming months, good, bad, stupid?
oh and kspecs yaya bushing set, this something to get with higher milage once things start to go bad? or better for the performance side regardless of how old your current bushings are... told ya i didnt know much of this suspension stuff yet smile.gif lol

I would get sway bars first..
If your a suspension nutt.. you might wanna get coilovers later on.. so skip on that for now.
Get sway bars...
The get the strut bars
Then decide what you want as far as dropping your car (springs or coilovers)
The get the bushings last..

I have the bars from kspec airram+front strut bar= no fit. I have H&R springs with GR2s. Zman has these but also with whitelines. Also a full adjustaable coilovers would be nic ebut they are expensive depends if you think they are worth it. They were alot for me but I would like alot more control over mysetup sometimes, like the track.
my setup:
ksport coilovers
eibach sway bars
kspec strut bars
there they are, listed in order of the handling impact they made, greatest to least. the coilovers are CRAZY adjustable, while a regular damper set paired with lowering springs would not be.
viper, why dont you just make a strut bar. it would be easy, and you would be able to sell an easy 10 provided they are moderately priced.

Good list ^^
Just don't forget one of the most important pieces:
GOOD TYRES!!!
and some 16'' rims would be good too!

Yea tires are most important imo well you cant really do much with leaving one out, except the strut bars.
Def invest in good tires liek treadware of 200 or below. I have falkon azenis which are very nice. Look at ventus tires also I haventy driven with them but they sound nice on their website
Why would you want a lower treadwear rating. To make your tire wear faster?
You want AA traction.
