Tenzo R Shu 4's
yea i have them on my tib. You have to remove those scews. the shu-4s dont have cavities. I removed the screws but I get a little shaking from the steering for some reason. Not sure what is causiing my steering wheel to shake.
those screws in the hub are for manufacuring purposes only. don't worry about removing them. most aftermarket wheels don't have cavities for them.
422... chances are you need a re-balancing or alignmet to get rid of that shake. i really think there's little-to-no chance it's from the removal of those screws.

So whats the big deal about captive rotors? Everyone does swaps and such when all you can do is remove the nuts? Thats weird.....are you sure? So if I remove those nuts then I won't have a problem at all eh....I will be able to fit any rim I want?

No, no, no. On captive rotors you CANNOT remove the 4, hex-head bolts. They hold the assembly in place. On NON-CAPTIVE rotors, you can remove the 4 philips-head style screws on the hub because they're not attached to anything.

Take off wheel.SO how do I know which one I have?
Look at hub.
If you see 4-HEX HEAD STYLE bolts then you have captive rotors. Also, 98 and earlier Tiburons have them.
If you see 4-PHILLIPS HEAD STYLE screws, then you have non-captive rotors. Also, 99 and newer Tiburons have them..
BTW, please update your signature. wink

From doing some reading I heard you can
A) put spacers on.....(I think I'm going with this option)
cool.gif do a brake swap with a 99 tib....hmmmm I work in selling automotive parts.....so lets say I get a rotor from a 99 Tiburon....then that means I'm done with captive rotors?
by the way I checked today......they are hex bolts....so yah I got captives.....DAMN!
