Default Suspension questions

I want to get some H&R Lowering Springs and SR Strut Bars to go with my stock struts and 17x7.5" rims w/ 205/40zr17 tires. The springs are listed at a 1.6"F/1.5"R drop which is a good drop for the Tiburon in my opinion. Anyone have this set-up or something similar. Any advice on tire and strut life?

I've heard good things about H&R, however...its not recomended to use stock struts. They wont last very long and considering your struts are 10 years old...putting lowered springs in with them will drastically hurt your performance and the way your car rides.

Save up and get either KYB's or Koni's. You'll be MUCH happier that you did.

Yeah, new struts can be found reasonably priced on ebay, and they're well worth the money for the ride you get. I have Elantra KYB's and H&R springs, and I love it!

how is the ride quality with KYB AGX? because i really felt no difference between eibach springs with eibach struts than eibach springs with GR-2.

i don't know about H&R but every spring is just too low and you get rubbing.
