Suspension
So i have been in the market for a new suspension setup.
Right now the car is running stock suspension, that hasnt been replaced since i have owned it. 145+k to my knowledge.
I think i want a stiffer ride, with tighter cornering, and less body roll.
I dont want to lower it.
I am willing to spend the money on a good setup, i just really dont know brands are good or bad.

if you are willing to spend then coilovers are the way. megan just released some coilovers for our tib that blacktibs has on his car, ask him for input on them.

Go with Koni Yellows or KYB AGX they mount fine with stock springs. and the struts are adjustable. If Bilstein made shocks for our cars I would say go with them as that is what I would have run if I could have found them. But I am running H&R street performance matched coilover setup. It does drop the ride an inch to 2.5 inches but I didn't notice a drop since stock springs sag after 150000 and 10 years of potholes. Actually on full up I had more height. BUt unless you find someone looking to get rid of them they will set you back about $1000. The ride is stiffer but man can the TIB hold the road and that was with stock sway bars and no additional chassis stiffening on cheap lowprofile tires no less. I could barely do over 40 around a entrance ramp with the worn stock setup. with the H&R I had x2 beyond that and it was still holding the line like a champ. If you go coilvers though you have to be careful if you want a body kit do not get the VS or VS knockoff or else you will curse at every small bump in the road.

Vehicle: MC + RD2 + AW11 + 944 = 4x Win
Koni's are good, I am running a pair of the 3x adjustables on the back end of the 944. But the ones for the tib are just struts, and for the cost one could find a decent set of coilovers.
Looking at the Megans it seems you can find full sets for under $900 new. The Konis are something like 700 w/out springs for a full set.

IIRC correctly i spent roughly 900 total on my kyb agx struts w/ eibach pro spring kit. yeah, i could spent 150 more at the time and got coilovers but i am glad with what i got. i just didnt recommend my setup cause he doesnt want any drop is all and i am down 1.5"

Yep so he is limited to Konis or KYBs and he can also go to a high performance cataog that does racing applications in particular and upgrade to racing springs with higher spring rates. But that takes some trial and error to see when it gets too bouncy for you.

Yeah kyb agx would be good choice b/c you can adjust the stiffness. I have them with the eibach pro kit and it ride and handles great but it did drop the ride like 1.25". which make the tib stance awesome.

I have an 05 GS Tib with Koni Yellows, a little bit of trouble to install, but well worth it. I used a set of 08 SE Tib springs, 23mm swaybars front and rear, Ingalls Smartarms in the rear, a DC Sports front strut bar and a set of urethane suspension bushings.
The ride height is stock, ride is a bit stiffer than stock, minimal body roll and it corners like a cat on carpet.

I know that I am resurrecting an old thread.
I wonder if there have been any recent information about getting a set of Coilovers that keep the stock height, or just slightly lower maybe 1" drop at most.

Ksport, you can even raise the car an inch over stock height if you really wanted, i Still got my Ksport coil overs, super comfy, handle great, weight transfer is now super predictable!
Only way to go for me if i ever want to lower a car ever again!
