Hello everyone,
I have recently installed rotorworks drilled/slotted rotors all around and had a problem with the rear brakes locking up first. I fixed that problem with the master cylinder and proportioning valve from my other tib. But now it is impossible to lock up the tires under heavy braking. So I know I can stop faster, but i can push the pedal to the floor without locking up the tires. I have bled the brakes completely and I KNOW there is no air in the lines so I figure the stock rubber lines are just expanding under heavy braking.
Anyway, I know the goodrich lines are the best of the best. But obviously I can't get them right now due to the lack of a GB.
So I was wondering if anyone had some recommendations for good quality lines for a 98 fx tib.
Thanks.

Well, during the break-in process, I did brake pretty hard, but I remember from school that you should increase your speed and decrease your stopping distance as the process continues. And always leave about 30 seconds in between each stop to allow for cooling. I don't think I glazed the pads. If I stop hard a few times in a row, it will definately stop better. I suppose I just need to heat up the semi-metallic pads to get maximum performance.
I would still like some ss brake lines though.
Should we change this thread into a "gauging interest in another goodrich gb" thread, or start a new one?
shopHP does have a set from 'techna fit'. I dunno about quality and they would cost about 120 shipped. The pics look ok and I can get them with pvc coating for corrosion and abrasion resistance.

What do you think guys?
