This is pretty basic for many of you I figure but on the RD2 what tire spins when you burnout? Is it both fronts or just the right side front?
I'm thinking about chuckin the buck for smoke tires but I'm only getting as many as I'll spin.

yeah, I'm gonna get smoke tires for both fronts. I can get the same tire without the smoke gel/compound on it for cheaper but I found two good reason's to justify the extra buck on a possibly extra tire. Reason one is that the gel makes the tires red in color so one black and three red would just be odd so I'm hoping i can make two red's and two black's look good. Secondly I figure I do wear some tread down pretty quick, and probably even quicker with these soft rubbers so two is good for when I wear down the right and need to swith em up.

...Are you familiar with what you drive at all? I mean, literally, at all?

Ok, I don't want to come off like a dick, but you are the reason people hate on imports, and especially tiburons. First off... Why spend money on red tires? Why not get green, so you can watch the color of the money you are literally burning? You do realize that burning out is killing your tires, and overall not so great for that big hunk of metal called a transmission?

Second. We are a front wheel drive. We do not have a limited slip diff. Do you know how dumb it looks to see someone doing a one wheel burnout? What is the point of it? Don't waste your money.

Third. Instead of investing a shit ton of money in colored-ricey tires, why not put that into money for a limited slip, clutch, rims, tires, engine mods, and all the other things you could get? I realize you are new mang, but honestly, think what you are saying. You could get a cold air intake for 40 dollars shipped. A short shifter from OBX for like 40 shipped. A used set of headers cost me 80$. 1.8 cam costs 90$. 1.8 ecu is like 50. I get an entire 2.5" full exhaust with one high flow cat for 300$ total! For 600$ or less even, which is slightly more than a decent set of tires, you can get a hell of a lot more power out of your tib, you can have bragging rights over most civics, preludes, integras, eclipses, or what have you, and you can actually look and sound like a tuner as opposed to a ricer.

I've spent under a thousand dollars and my car looks great, sounds great, and has some decent power I think. I'd say rethink your thoughts mang...

Dude, havn't you ever seen a burnout competition? The tires are slightly colored from the gel. They're black tires, with a tint.

I'm a little confused....when has spinning or smoking the tires ever been cool? All it means is you're wasting energy that could be propelling your car forward.....

/rant
And people wonder why imports are hated on so much. If you really want to spin the tires go get yourself a 240SX do the SR swap and smoke them on a road course
/rant

Sorry for the OT rant folks
