So I'm probably gonna get these....

But what I wanna know is when you put them on do you have to take the sway bars off and slide them on? or just take of the clamp things holding them in place or something?

Because on my friends subaru he just has to take the clamps off and replace them, it's very simple.

And also, do they make a noticeable difference? I can't really afford sway bars so this is pretty much the only upgrade I can do on my suspention now. I already have springs and strut bars so it should be a good combination.

Are you talking about the front or rear bushings? What company? OEM or aftermarket? I have done my rear bushings and they were split, undo the bolt, remove the old one, replace it with the new one, reinsert the bolt.

I'm talking about these... ?

Aftermarket, for the front and rear.

And if it's as simple as that, then that's great!

EDIT: hmm I guess my picture didn't work in the first post.

Yeah, those are split, you can see the line in the right bottom corner of the bushing on the left.

are you going to upgrade the endlinks and bars?

just upgrading this part of the under suspesion system is going to be pretty much pointless, unless you wanna just spend money to say you have poly bushings.

and what strutbars/springs/shocks do you have

Yeah I was planning on getting just those, my friend said it would help a bit.

How much are endlinks?

I have apex springs, kspec front and rear strut bars and center bar. Stock struts.

..... your friend said these would help a bit, eh. the bushing kits are 70$ a piece. so thats 140$ front and rear.. i would upgrade your struts well before i would upgrade bushings on stock sway bars, stock endlinks and stock struts.

never heard of apex springs, but if you want an upgrade, i would do struts first.. riding on lowering springs and stock struts is not such a great idea unless you just want the look of being lowered and not all the advantages of handling.

kjb sells endlinks.

Well it sais it comes with 2 front bushings and 2 rear.

Maybe i'll just wait untill my friend puts his on to see if it does anything.

Apex springs are pretty well know actually, I'm pretty happy with them.
I was thinking about getting struts, but I can't spend too much and I dont wanna get anything bad.

I noticed that on cars where the sway bar is mounted to the front under the radiator (like most GM's) that poly bushings like Energy Suspension sells make a noticeable difference. On our cars though with the bar tucked up by the firewall and above the suspension it doesn't seem to help much at all. For any car with a low mount bar though I would whole heartedly recommend replacing the bushings. I have done this on a Buick Regal, LeSabre, Chevy S10, Monte Carlo, and my Toyota Corolla GTS and has been worth the $30-50 per pair that Energy Suspension wants for them. I have noticed though that SFR is expensive as hell for parts that are of similar quality and construction it's just ES doesn't make Hyundai parts last time I checked so they got us by the bawls!
