Honestly, I have one right in front of me... and I do not know what size the threads or anything are. It was just something I had in the garage.

seems like I missed this post by a few days, but I can feel your pain! I tried the rubber mallet, I tried a 3 pound sledge, even a 5 ton puller... 2 days and a in about 2 dozen pieces later, the rotor came off. I even tried the trick that Mad mentioned... it split the face of the rotor right off! Oddly enough, the rotor on the other side of the car lifted right off with my bare hands after the caliper came off! ugh.

even with that trick.. I broke the face off of the hat on my driver's side front rotor.. the rest all came off quick. The trick is not to stick the bolt in and crank it all the way down.. but to either get two and crank them down slowly and together.. or give the bolt a few turns, remove it, place in the other hole and give it a few turns.. remove it, return it to the original hole and crabk it down a little bit more than before.... until one side pulls free...
