Default Resurfacing slotted rotors

I have read on a few sites about resurfacing slotted rotors and some say that it is possible and some say not to do it. Has anyone had experience with resurfacing slotted rotors, or do you think I should buy new ones?

If they are still above minimum spec then you can turn them, heres the deal though. you have to use a brake lathe that is built with positive rake cutting bits like an Accu-turn lathe. A negative rake lathe will not get it done, like an ammco brake lathe. I turned my buddies cross drilled slotted rotors a couple months ago on an accu-turn lathe no problem. I see your in Cali, most Oriely auto parts (formally Kragens) have a accu-turn lathe in stores. I service accu-turn lathes and have been doing so for about 10 years now, by far the best lathe on the market.
