If they are still above minimum spec then you can turn them, heres the deal though. you have to use a brake lathe that is built with positive rake cutting bits like an Accu-turn lathe. A negative rake lathe will not get it done, like an ammco brake lathe. I turned my buddies cross drilled slotted rotors a couple months ago on an accu-turn lathe no problem. I see your in Cali, most Oriely auto parts (formally Kragens) have a accu-turn lathe in stores. I service accu-turn lathes and have been doing so for about 10 years now, by far the best lathe on the market.
