Ok well I hit a huge pothole that's on a road I drive everday (it wasn't there before =;( ) so I got a big bubble in my front driver side tire. Was gonna get a replacement but they don't make my tires anymore.
So I decided to replace the 2 front ones. I have kumho ecsta 711's on the back, they work fine, and I want to leave them on so I have less traction back there. But they still have like 80% tire left.

Anyway I'm not sure what to get. I need something that works good in rain, I've already had one accident because of hydroplaning don't need that again. Anyway suggestions are appreciated. Was looking at 205/40/17

Decided to check out rims, and so far debating between RS_Limited Valkyrie's, and ADR Battle Ex's. Found some of the ADR's on Ebay for cheap:

Heres the valkyries: http://www.thewheelconnection.com/php/show...p;name=Valkyrie

What do you guys think about the ADR's ?

They don't look to ugly, but they weigh 20 lbs...
Probably strong enough though. (but next time, try to steer around potholes wink1.gif )
Are you sure you don't want 16s? They look nicer IMO.
And you want to keep your 711's (15's?) in the back and get 17's for the front? lmao.gif

you know the experts say the new tires should be installed in the back, they say when there is less tread on the rear tires your more likely to go into a skid.

if anyone has tested this theory I would like to see their findings.

17's in front 15's in back ? Im doing 17's all around (thats what I have now).
Well I want to 'skid,' if I didn't I wouldn't purposely make the ass end whip around while the front keeps traction lol. But I think if I get new rims ill just get all new tires.
Anyone have any suggestions for tires that are good on try street, but also in light-heavy rain ?

I like those a lot. 20lbs is pretty heavy!

Not a bad deal either take pics after they are on.

Remember lighter tires are more likely to break a belt so if you go light avoid those pot-holes
