Dear Community

I`d like to do the captive to non captive swap.
I have also read any topic about it but iam quite not sure about the setup.
Is it right that i only need new front wheel hub from an Elantra ,new wheel bearings and new non captive rotors?

So is this wheel hub i found on ebay the right one : Elantra 99-00 Wheel hub for sale on Ebay

You'll need more than just the hub.

It'd be easier to just get the entire assembly off a wrecked non-captive Elantra or non-captive Tiburon.

You should do some real searching, I did a full DIY for the swap, it's pretty easy, including the parts you need.

Thanks. Yeah, most of the noobs will go and do a search for something like....

"diy writup 4 captive two non captive rotorz"

When you just need to type in something like...

"captive rotor swap diy"

Or, god forbid, go to the DIY section and look at the FULL LISTING OF THE DIY'S ON THE SITE.
