Do you have any pad left on the rear pads?? If the guides on the caliper freeze the pad is constantly rubbing the rotor. Maybe the pad has just worn down due to the guides not "floating" like they should be, and the warning marker is making noise. 02.gif

If the guides stuck in bracket those pads (or just one of them) will not wear, or will not well right (one side - big wear, another - almost none).

So happened with my rear caliper.

Yeah the inside pad will wear more, which unless you take your wheel off, it's very difficult to see. Just a thought. This happened with my front pass side.

which would explain why your rear brakes did not seem to be wearing the disc down at all, the brakes were working only on the inside.
