Hey all, a quick search yealded no results so I was wondering if anyone else has this problem.
I have an 05 Tib and lately when I've been washing my car their has been some silver paint chipping off of one of my wheels. It was just a little bit at first wich I said no big deal cause it was on the inside of the wheel and not really noticiable. Now it's progressively getting worse everytime I wash it and it spread toward the outer area of the rim. I have just under 40k on it so I would think this should be covered under warrenty. These are the stock GK rims.
Before anyone asks I'll say I never use any harsh chemicals on it. I don't even use any wheel cleaner, I've never used anything other than my MaGuires car wash soap.

Is your car still under warranty? Could see if the dealer will do something about it. Either that, or suck it up and get some new aftermarket rims! smile.gif If you dont have the money....you could always try having the stock rims either powdercoated or paint them yourself with rim paint.
