offsets and sizes
2001 Elantra, APEX 40mm drop want to put 17's and quite maybe 18's on it.
The lug pattern and sizes are 4.5" 4x114.3 right?
What offset should I use for each one. I want to be able to use 215's on it.
If I go with the 18's they will be 205's due to weight worries.
Thanks.
These should work right?

42's would probably rub with 215's on the inside edge on sharp corners.
35's would probably rub with 215's on the outside lip of the fender.
Stock offset is +42...so given the choice of the 2, I would go with the 35 rather than the 42. My 17's are 215 wide with a 38 offset, and I have no problems, but then again...I'm not lowered...yet!
