At speeds of 60 or higher I feel a vibration that seems to be coming from the driver side front wheel. Once I set the cruise it slows and then kinda goes away. Is this an alignment issue, or possibly a wheel bearing going bad?

check the tread on the tire, and make sure the wheel weights are still in position.

Wheels also require balancing every once in a while, especially if you skid to a stop or do a burnout. Get a firestone lifetime wheel balance warranty. You'll love it. Just walk in and tell them to balance the wheels whenever you like.

So are the chances of it being something other than a wheel bearing pretty good?

F'in YES MAN! My 70+ car-shake was an 8" long section of tread missing from a tire.

I doubt it is a wheel bearing. When my front driver bearing went, it was sort of a whirring sound but would not be audible at speeds such as 60 or higher because the engine noise would drown it out at anything over 2000 rpm really
