Found them on tirerack. Like them for the price/looks. I do, however, like the Tenzo R DC-6's better.. But, they're a bit too pricey for me at the moment.

Just wanted to ask and see, in case anybody else has them & likes/dislikes them for obvious reasons.

MSW Type 11 from TireRack

TIA!

whoa, heavy.

tenzo are 19lbs. in a 17" dia.

konig britelites or feathers are roughly 16lbs. for a 17" rim which in the long run will help you in gas mileage. they are strong, will take a beating, and finally priced close to your budget. less rolling inertia you have, the more responsive your car will be plus added gas milage. two things for the price for one in my book is a no brainer.

those wheels look neat, but not for a tib IMO, and kinda heavy.

i think my next set of wheels for my car will be konig daylights... 17x7 and 14.5 lbs.. and cheap also..

So, what weight would you guys suggest to get? 15-17lb? Is 19lb fine?

What's the stock wheel weight for the 15" wheels on a 2000 tibby? I looked online briefly, but didn't find anything.

The Konig rims look pretty nice.. I'll have to check into them.

Do some searching my man, we've got hundred of rim threads here. In every one of them you'll see posted that a GOOD weight for a rim, is to have less pounds than it measures in inches. My Konig Britelites are 16 inch rims, that weigh 15 pounds.

a rim is considered 'lightweight' if if it weighs as much, or slightly more than the diameter.. its considered 'ultra-light', if its less than that.

the konig daylites are by FAR the best bang for buck i have ever found.. ~140$ per rim, and ULTRA lightweight.

the 16x7 daylites are 13.2 lbs a piece.
the 17x7 daylites are 14.5 lbs a piece.

obviously any 17" rim will be more weight, but it depends on what your going for.

i would look for a rim in your taste, looks wise, and if its a 17" rim you want, and LESS than 20lbs, buy it..

those need to go. hell no

16 are the best for the tibby, as far as racing and lowering the car and makeing it look good. you want to get a offset of at least 32-34. little did i know that the offset also dictates how the car will handle and how well the aliment comes out. also stay far away from cheep ass china wheel they will break and or crack during hard driveing conditions i have see it with my own eyes..

17 inch

Enkei Racing RP03
O.Z. Crono HT
O.Z. Ultraleggera
O.Z. Superturismo GT

in that order. that also applys to the 16inch as well.

Thanks for all of the info, everybody. It's much appreciated.

I'll probably end up going with Rota or Enkei's.. I've read a few places that the Tenzo R DC-6's bend/break easily and that people have had better luck with Enkei/Rota's durability.

Now, just which one & model to get.. Hmm...

^^ the people that say that probably hit a curb being a dumbazz and didnt want to admit it to the friends. changed the story to ran over a pothole. i actually witnessed that one time and called the guy out in front of all his friends, he was pissed.
