You just cleaned the protective coating off of them, that is all. ALL rotors will rust when not driven for a few days. Just what happens to unprotected machined steel when left out in the elements

no complaints with these rotors fitment was great, same with the pads they came with. install was a b*tch though, my rotors were rusted on so damn good, i had to beat them with the back of an axe to get them off lmao

Yea i wouldn't reccommend that, I had the same problem was about to bust out the acet torch, my buddy hit it with a hammer one last time broke the spindle assembly right off mad.gif

Whenever I bring a car home I take the calipers off and reinstall with antiseize. Then take the rotors off and spray the assembly behind with some flat black paint. Ive torched a rotor off before though. Noone that buys my cars will ever have trouble with a brake job.
