Can you link the ebay listing where you bought it from, if it's still on there? Some members may be able to give you some (probably negative) advice on the ones you purchased. smile.gif

I got some R1 drilled and slotted back in May.

They work great! Don't use paint anywhere near them, the residue removed the nickel coating and now they rust.

i bought the same ones from the same company off ebay as well. The pads wear pretty quick and leave a lot of dust behind, the rotors are holding up quite good after a year of use, i was afriad of warping because....well its ebay, but front ones still look new the rears are chewed up a bit, but that a caliper problem on my side.

I got the same rotors, they work and look great.
But DTN, the paint didn't do it, as i had paint nowhere near mine and it still does it.
These particular rotors will build up a very thin layer of surface rust on the area the pad touches if you haven't driven it in a while.
Any time i stored my tib or just didn't drive it for a couple weeks, it would have a small amount of surface rust on them, i got worried at first but soon realized as soon as you take it for a spin and stop once the surface rust is gone.
------------
As far as the pads, you would have been better off if you got hawk hp pads, it would have cost you around 100 bux for a full set but its night and day over any other pad. The pads that they supply aren't the best as people have said, my bestfriend put them on his mustang with his new rotors, he loved the look, but wasn't as impressed with the braking difference like i am with my hawks.

^^ While I was painting I oversprayed, then wiped the entire area down with dawn. After that, the entire rotor started looking like crap. Keep paint away from them.
