If you read my previous post about my leaking caliper, you'll be interested to know that yet another noise has emerged from my driver's side wheel well.

It sounds like a thud noise everytime the road gets rough/ uneven. Sounds softer than a fully failed strut on my friends car.

Two observations:

1) Began only after I replaced the caliper and bled the lines
2) Doesn't seem to "thud" when I brake. Could be wrong but I tried to gently brake over bad roads to see if it would make the same noise.

Once again, the noise kinda sounds like a quick "Thud thud thud" evertime the road gets uneven.

Is this a failed strut? Any other indicators?

Could it be brake related?

I can't believe HOW many problems I've had with this one driver's side wheel well.

I've had that problem for a while now too. Started around 55k miles.
It thuds on the driver side when I take off. So I guess when the strut expands.
