My Front Strut Bar
Allright, so in general I am not a fan of cheap ebay knockoffs, but I decided to give this strut bar a chance, because it looked to be a lot better quality then the el-cheapo ones.

The bar fits perfect. Super strong and sturdy. The only issue I had was the brackets were on the oposite ends of the strut bar so I had to switch them for the writing "factory tuned" to be right-side-up. No big deal. In fact, my fiance did that part for me cool.gif
The clearance between the bar and the intake manifold is around 4mm, so if you have an AIRRAM or possibly even the Tim modified manifold - good luck.
I purchased it from here.

Without seeing any proof I have a hard time believing that this bar is actually made by Falken Tire, but it is a very high quality strut bar and I would never buy anything different.
If you can get this one for $39 SHIPPED to the US, why buy from Kspec, and pay for shipping accross the ocean, etc.?
now, I just need to find a cheaper rear strut bar alternative....

I know what your saying. So far it hasn't bumped yet to my knowledge but I did think about that and will watch for it.
I also didn't exactly measure it... 4mm is an estimate.

TThat's one damned fine looking bar. I don't like how flimsy the mounts look, but at least there if finally one that covers all 3 mounting points.
I might consider it. I didn't know that Falken was making performance parts now.

It's listed as 97-99 Tib.
I thought all RDs are the same under the hood.
I was about to hit purchase when I thought i'd better double check with you guys first, if it will fit my '00.
btw, How long did it take to ship to you?

Actually, it says in the auction...
# Produced for Falken's now discontinued performance parts lineup

ya, but I'm not sure if I believe them. I emailed Falken Tire to find out if they had a "factory tuned" line.

It's the same bar as the one OBX used to make/sell.
Nope, not even close. The holes on the OBX ones are circles, the one on mine are rectangle/ovals. Plus I think my brackets are befier.

Ya, it will fit the same. Just FYI, I shipped to a US address, and it was there in less than a week. I'm sure Canadian shipping won't be much longer, but you will pay some duties (and of course taxes) across the border.
