What size tires did you get with the 18's? You might be able to get away with an Eibach drop (1.2"), but chances are you'll have a little bit of rubbing on hard turns. sad.gif
I would say to go no more than an inch and a quarter drop if you can find a set of springs that only drop that low. The rubbing will be the tires against either the inside of you fenders or your wheel wells, "the plastic piece." This will only hurt your tires if they rub on a jagged or open metal piece of the lip on the inside of your fender, " it will begin to put cuts in you tire." Other than that a really anoying nose from rubbing when hitting bumps or making turns like "Low Show" said. An option though is to take out the plastic wheel well piece and roll up the metal lip of the fender. That is what I did on my last car, but if you do this be sure to cover open metal on the rolled up lip where the tire may posibbly rub when hitting a big enough bump.
