Looking Into Slicks
The key to not breaking the drive train is knowing how to preload the drive train. I launch my car from 6000rpm and the reason it doesn't look like that in the video is because the slicks are still spinning through first. And all my 60' for that day were between 1.81-1.84.
Do you have stock breaks on the front? If so I can send you a link to get some 13" wheels like I have on my car that will give you plenty of clearance with the stock tib brakes and calipers. I run 24.5x8.5x13 M&H slicks on my car and have no issues with them, now they will limit your turning radius a little. The max you would need to go would be 22x8x13 right now until your making in the 400whp range then you would need to step up to larger slicks.

i have stock brakes and suspension. sure send me that link. ill probably end up running stock wheels though just because i dont have money for 2 new wheels. i must have searched wrong or something becasue the only thread that came up wiht anything was just one where tim had talked about having slicks but there wasnt much information in there.
