I am tired of needing two people to bleed my brakes. Any suggestions on a kit?

Old fridge compressor and a 1 gallon drywall compound bucket, some tubing, and a few pinch valves also works well.

pump it with foot and wedge a small stick or jackhandle between the pedal and the front seat..thats how i do it when i'm working solo..



get a empty plastic bottle with a cap in the hole, some pvc hose and some old brake fluid,

All you need is a some 1/4" ID vinyl hose, a 1/4" x 1/2" bolt, a 2 small hose clamps for the hose and a plastic bottle with a cap.



Drill a hole in the cap so the hose can fit snuggly though it.

Put the bolt in the end of the hose and clamp it in.

Cut a 1/2" linear slice in the hose just above the bolt.

Put hose in bottle and screw on the cap.

Put hose on bleeder nipple and use clamp to hold it.

Open bleeder a quarter turn and start pumping.



As you push down on the pedal the fluid expands the slit in the hose and comes out.

As you let up on the pedal the hose collapses sealing the slit.

I put speed bleeders in mine. They have a one way check valve for one man bleeding. Worked great on my Tib.
