Are koni yellows worth the money?
I was going to probably get KYBs but Ive been reading that people say Koni Yellows are the best you can get for struts short of going full all out race coilovers. Why are Konis so much more expensive and better? I tried to do searches on it but came back with nothing.
What do you use your car for? If you drive to work/school and back, I see no reason to go away from OEM struts unless the '06 Accent is notorious for having horrible struts.
It will just be a daily driver but Im looking to enter my first few auto crosses this year and Im getting lowering springs. I dont want to use the stock struts because I saw on here that stock struts dont last long with lowered springs.
id just go with KYB GR-2s if they make them for your car.. Konis seem like to much of a paint to me, unless your using your car almost exclusively for competitive racing.

GR-2's will hold up to lowering springs fine.
Koni yellows are more expensive because they're adjustable, rebuildable, and just overall better.
