Just being silly and vain
Do you guys think there's enough material on the XG calipers to have them machined smooth with out affecting the integrity of the metal or caliper?
I'm taking them to get power coated and color matched soon, but I hate how raw the metal looks. I'd prefer to have them smoothed before getting them coated. Never even tried it before, but I realize if done wrong it can seriously screw them up. Asking before I do something stupid in the name of vanity.

You could add small stress cracks to them but I doubt anything would happen
