In need of new tires so I would like to get a set of summer performance ones that are good but wont break the bank. 205/40/17 is my size. What do you guys have and how do you like them? I'm hearing a lot of good things about Kumhos but not sure if I should go with them or Yokohama's.

I'm using Michelin Pilot Super Sports on my Genesis Coupe and Potenza RE750s on my Supra. Both of them perform amazing, in the dry and wet, especially the Michelins, but you will pay a pretty penny for those. I'm not sure if either makes the size you are looking for though, you might need to size up or down if you are interested in either.
If you are set on that tire size, I would recommend reading the reviews on some of these: Tires from Tire Rack

Well, the Toyo R1R, BF Goodrich g-Force Rival, and Bridgestone RE-11 don't come in that size, so I would recommend the Falken Azenis RT-615k.
If you are willing to step up to 215/40/r17 I suggest the Dunlop Direzza ZII
