I'm swapping in my rotorpro's rotors and stauf's lines today, just a question about the brake lines. Where do I disconnect them??? See pic.
Where do I disconnect the hose? I think just to the left of the bracket, however it looks like the bracket has two tabs on it that will prevent it from turning.
Alright, so I figured out I had to take the nut on the right off. Now how do I get the damn hose out of that bracket?

the rusted to hell "nut" in the far right of the pic. you dont even have it boxed in. use some pbblaster on it, let it soak for 30 minutes, then get a 10mm line wrench(3/4 of a closed wrench).
i just used vice grips, but now the nut is nearly round.
the nut pulls the hard line into the ss-line female fitting. unscrew the nut and you can just pull it out of the nonrigid ss line, yank off the clip, and replace the lines.

haha, I had my mom pushing the pedals in the car while we were bleeding the brakes, and I was wondering why after like 5 or 6 times there was still no fluid coming out, after filling up the reservoir...
I asked her to start the car, and told her she had to push the clutch in... she was like "I am!" but there was no starting...
Ugh, it's embarrassing that my mother doesn't know which is the clutch and brake pedals...

lol, mom's are great. For around $70.00 you can get a nice extractor that creates a nice vacuum for one-man brake bleeding jobs. It holds 5 gallons of brake fluid as well, so you can do your friends' cars, your mom's car, etc. before having to empty it.
Did you have the resevoir cap OFF when you were bleeding? I made that mistake not too long ago, lol and had to re-do the entire process. It was late at night and my friend was wondering why the pedal wasn't getting any harder to press, and I didn't think to re-think my process I just wanted to get done. haha, I slept on it and realized next morning I accomplished nothing...

those vacuum kits blow. they end up pulling air from around the bleeder valve and you can never tell exactly when you are done. i bought one, used it once, and it went in the stack of things never to be used again.
