heating stock springs to lower car
a friend of mine had his stock springs heated today and dropped 2 inches. is this safe??? it saved him a lot of money, but will the wear factory parts quicker??? suicide

bad, bad, bad idea. I'd say this is a worse idea than cutting your stock springs.
Springs can be had for as cheap as $120. If you can't afford $120, don't modify your car.
