02.gif and by bad handling i mean all the leaning our cars do in the corners....now of course the only other thing ive done a corning course in is a wrx, but still. i was going to look for a 1995 nissan 240sx but their just to damn rare on the east coast.

AWD is the way to go around corners quick...WRX are fun on hairpins at 50mph. ewww..1995 240sx....get an s13 instead of a s14 that you were looking into.

Yes, I can't drive a stock Tib anymore, feels like a wet noodle to me.
Everytime I drive one of the stock tibs on the lot here, I'm leaning like mad, when I drive it like I drive my car, and have had a few close calls.

But Anyway, QUEST coilovers are the BEST ones you can get for our RD's. Batlord used to have them on his car, so did BLUE. He sold them a few months back. ANd yeah the H&R's are on sale in the FOR SALE forum, but I think one of the guys found it cheaper at another site. And H&R's seem pretty reputable, but I have never known anyone with them before.

Anyway, IF you go with Coilovers, get the EIBACH ProKit Sway bars!!! I can't stress that enough. Sway bars will be night and day. If you have the coilovers, you'll get a lower drop and a stiffer ride, but your car will still lean and twist.
Sway bars will stop this or make it very minimal.

Personally, I would not get coilover. Coilovers are great for setting what you want, when you want. But it's a PITA to set them EVERYTIME. Personally I get a nice set of springs, struts and sway bars. The EIBACH PRO KIT is a great investment. Like I say, I can't drive a stock tib after I got my kit on. And strut bars will only help minimally when you have the sway bars. If you don't have strut bars already, save them till the end.

wow thanks for the info....you just answered all my questions and problem. so the sway bars would be the best thing that would limit that leaning. i already have the front strut bar ordered so ill get a rear and center here soon the get the sway bars. how much was the prokit you were talking about?

Do a search on here, someone posted a link to a pretty cheap complete Eibach PROKIT (Springs, Sturts, Swaybars)
I can't remember the price, but I know it's on RD.

And IMHO Center bar is more for show than anything, the minimal amount of flex you have there, once you stiffen up your sway bars,... you won't feel it.

Also do a search on here for Sway bars, I think I've said my 2cents worth wink1.gif
Also you'll might need new front and rear sway bar links and nuts if you can't get the ones you have on there now, off. They tend to spin. I was able to save my rears, but had to chop off the fronts. That was fun with the Die grinder! evil.gif

i assume the anti-roll is the sway bar ... http://eibach.com/cgi-bin/htmlos.exe/0048....894100700012733
i mean i the pro-kit seems to be only coilovers

it talks about the system being tuned for the pro-kit should i get the pro-kit first or does it actually matter?
ill post the sites i have found and some prices.

I have the full EiBach setup. Well I am installing the sway bars this weekend. They are NOT coilovers. The prokit simply comes with a set of springs and a set of dampeners. That way you do not have to buy them separate. If you look at Shox.com they have a good price on the whole setup. They are were I got all my parts from.

What are the stock mm on the Front-Rear sways on the Tib? 20mm and 18mm bars really don't sound that beefy... most other cars with 22mm+ aftermarket swaybars that I've seen oversteer a lot more than a Tib stock though... maybe bigger not necessarily better here. I'm not a suspension wiz.

The GK has a 19mm rear bar than can be used as a low cost upgrade for ours... I think the RD uses a 17.

Would one of the RRM Aftermarket GK Rear Sways (22mm) be too beefy...?

with the stock front? I think you would quickly find out how fast a front driver can spin.
