Hey guys and girls,

Just wanted some opinions on this setup.

I want to get gold gram light 57c wheels in a 16x7 size, with +42mm offset. I was thinking about the Eagle F1 tires since they have them in a 215/40/16. The tires have GREAT reviews on tirerack so.

Here are the tires: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?ti...re1=yes&place=0

And the wheels: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/DisplayWhee...sh=Gold+Painted

Just noticed these wheels too: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/DisplayWhee...sh=Gold+Painted

They might look good as well but I think I prefer the 57c's.

Don't ask me why but I REALLY want gold/bronze wheels. I think it would give the car a higher-end look. Most of all it would be different around here. VERY few people have bronze wheels and I just love them so.

Right now the car has the stock 15's painted black, they don't look bad, but I am in the market for some lighter wheels and a little less sidewall.

Please post up your opinions.

Thanks.

gran lights are one of the hottest brand wheels u can get. i think 57s would look better than the common 5 spoke the 57c offer but either way, these wheels would be hot for your car. One tip, when you get them make sure you get the right offset so that they stick out flush to the car. these are goning to look soo freakin dam good on your car man!

The 57Cs are really great, but if you look for them to fit Tiburons on the Tirerack website, they are not shown, as if there were none of them to fit our cars... not even for none captive setups, are you sure you can get those wheels to fit our cars?

Wow, thanks for so many replies everyone.

I am kind of in a toss up as to which wheels to get??? I like the fact that the s's dont have any painted writing, but I am more of a fan of the 5 spokes. Damn, it's gonna be a hard decision.

I am getting +42 offset. I believe the correct offset would be +40 but +42 would just make the wheels stick out a LITTLE farther, we are talking 2mm here. Tire rack is massively anal so they say they won't fit but they will.

About the tires, the 215/40/16 are actually 2.7% smaller than the stock tires so I would think they would be fine.

And I would kind of like the kdw2's but EVERYONE has them and the ratings for the F1's are just about as high. Also, I hear that the kdw's are very noisy so I am pretty content with my decision.

Please, any additional inputs are welcome, thanks for all of the positive feedback.

A few people around here said bronze or gold on silver wouldn't look right but I totally disagree!

Thanks again everyone. cool.gif
