Ok well the time has come my calipers have finaly gone bad. I have a problem with my stock Accent pistons as they are not fully closing right. I have very poor braking even with brand new pads. The pads wear very unevenly and Im told its due to the piston in the calipers not evenly applying preasure. So here it goes...went on ebay looked up 99-01 Elantra/Tiburon parts:
2 Front Calipers
2 front rotors
2 front wheel hubs
2 sets of front brake pads

Now not sure if I have everything needed but I want to make sure before I buy all this that the hubs will fit my 04 Accent spindles.
Also is there anything I am missing aside from SSB brake lines (thats a given)?

 

I have never gotten a solid answer about whether XD calipers will bolt up to the Accent spindle. IF they do, your list is all that you should need.

 

hat do you mean calipers bolting to the spindles? Isn't that why i would be swapping the hub? or are you meaning that the hub may not fit?

 

The hub is just the thing with the wheel studs and a bearing on the back. It's pressed into the spindle.

If you're getting the entire spindle you'll be fine.

hawk pads (my personal fav)

they bolt on to the rd/j2 spindle

I vegly remember that post at HP. well shoot if they bolt up no problem to the RD spindle I'll do it but does that RD spindle mafit the Accent LC2? I think the RD/J2 spindle bolts in, but I KNOW the XD Elantra spindle bolts in.
