I'm looking for some new springs for my car and I noticed on E-BAY that they have drop coilover sleeve springs for pretty darn cheap.

Any input on these from actual users?

Is it worth the $60 for 4 new springs?

the fact that they dont even publish the spring rates are scary enough.

Wow those are cheap!!! Usually you get what you pay for on eBay, and with a price that low, "...I half expected it to be made out of wood!"
I probably wouldn't recommend it, however, for only $65, that's not risking much...

hmm.. i wouldnt do it.. and like in that link, i dont think it would be worth it.. either get a spring/strut combo, or get the NEX coilovers... you would be wayy happier..

the ebay crap is usually pretty cheap, but youd probably be better off cutting your stock springs.. lol

Don't get them.

Ask ABQELantra.

If you want to bounce like a rubber ball, go for it.

The only thing in that artical I can use is paint the coilover, and adjust weights. We don't have camber kits on our stock springs.

Our perches are bolt on. When you change the spring they come off.

... we are talking about the upper strut mounting assy right? If not, i'm totally lost because these should just swap 1-1 with our springs.

our cars suspension goes... hub bolts to strut, spring goes over strut, upper strut assy bolt to the top of the strut and attatches to the vehical. They're McPherson struts, everything that mounts is mounted to the dampener. the dampener is the actual strut. The spring is just there to push it back up.

I'm not really following what Tibby01 is saying.
