yep, change your cables. chances are you can see the problem if you look on the caliper end of the cables, there's probably rust everywhere.

i replaced one on my xd and it was find for like a month then the other day....snap....so i need the other side now. owell...didnt have the money then...and i sure dont have it now.

Mine was also freezed and the right brake cable (right rear) broke off completely. I didn't knew replacing them was as easy as you guys posted here. I will try to replace it tomorrow, thanks!
