I ordered a set of Sprint lowering springs for my tib

Well, I installed them on to the struts but they didn't fit right

I sent an e-mail to the people I bought them from. They said
"They might sit a little different" from the stock springs.

I think they just don't fit the strut.

here is the stock spring compared to the lowering spring

a close up of the lowering spring

You have the top spring mount on 180 off. Look at the pic of the two... the one with the new spring is on wrong.

Either that or if the top of the spring will not sit in the groove right with the top mount the right way, then yes, the spring is not right.

Maybe that's how they're meant to sit. Are they loose or do they wedge in nicely?

Try installing the struts (with the new springs) & see how it goes. If it doesn't feel right then they could be the wrong springs... I dunno.

I have sprint springs, and I'm pretty sure that mine didn't look off like that. The thing that I noticed weird wasn't about the front, but was about the back ones... the diameter of the coil is 1/4" larger, so it sits a little off in the bottom perch. Not dangerously off, just enough to squish the bottom rubber bushing differently than stock. It actually raised the rear of my car by an inch over stock until I drove it around for a night with tools in the back of the car... after that, it settled to a nice height. good luck!

hmmmm...........

Those are the same ones I bought

I noticed what you said about the rears

I ended up cutting the fronts a little to make them fit

now they fit perfectly and drop exactly 1.75"
