hey guys i bought some rims off craigslist and im looking to polish them but i want them to be completely stripped so i can have them machine polished. i dont want to have them blasted as that may pit the surface to much for a flat mirror polish. the place that will machine polish them doesnt strip, so whats the best type of chemical stripping to get so I can do it at home before sending them to the shop?

 

Best I have used is stripper in a can (sorry couldn't help it) seriously it is aircraft grade and in a aersol can had a huge boeing on the front of it. I got it from Advance but I am sure there are better out there.
