well since i finnaly got ahold of a rim to replace my steelie (thanks kantizuni smile.gif i need to replace the tyres up in the front

trying to keep the budget under 70 bucks or so per tire since i have quite a few things i need to be saving up for at the moment, came up with these choices and just want a second opinion on these,

the best rated tire on the ultra high performance summer category was the Exclaim UHP
it also coincidently was the cheapest at 55 per tire but it got the highest numbers in almost all its categories

then the Kumho Ecsta SPT
this one looks more of a summer tire in my opinion then the exclaim but still got some of the top reviews,
55 per tire

the BF Goodrich g-force sport
got good reviews on the site and i've hear some good things about them around this site too
most expensive at 75 per tire

Dunlop Direzza DZ101
never really hear anything about this tire before but got high reviews and its 68 per tire

Yokohma AVS ES100
good reviews, 64 bucks a tire and they look pretty good

im hoping some of you guys have first hand experience with some of these and can help me out cause i cant find much of a difference left

thanks!

take the time to look at hankook K106's. they make a 205/50/15 and were around 50 /tire if i can remember.

I have hankook's on both my cars and i'm really impressed with them, nice and grippy and the wear if i have any (been on both cars for 1.5 months) is nill to none.

I have the Yokohamas on at least one of my rims and they're pretty good, I have no complaints about them. I need to replace some of mine though and wanted to get Paradas, but they dont make them in my size anymore. I was considering the Kumhos as well.

I have kuhmo ecsta spt on my Mercedes and is not even close to fun when you add the snow factor. I have 0 traction with these tires on the snow, I'm running 35 profile on 19" rims so I dont know if that afects. On normal weather they are very good, on dry or wet. fing02.gif

I have the BFG G-Force Sports. I love them. I had the KDWs before, and they were great in the rain, but they're just too expensive to use them the way I do. The KD (Sports) are great tires though. I'll definitely buy them again...but I'm gonna have to find someone in the US to get them for me. I paid $200/tire. I don't know how you're getting them for $75, but it must be nice.

check out Falcon Ziex ze-512. cost me $75/piece for 205/45R16

make sure you look at treadwear rating when purchasing a tire. The cheap ones might only have a treadwear rating of 200 or so. If you do alot of driving, you should get a good sticky tire with treadwear rating of around 300.
