With a turbo charged tib say(250bhp) what would be the breaking distance with the stock brakes form 100kmh (55mph) to a dead stop?

Would it be less than 4 seconds?

 

factory numbers from 60-0 is approx. 140 feet. I've seen some magazine and forum members testing that support this figure. The lowest number I recall seeing was 138 feet. I've not seen time associated with stopping distance but the math tells me it would be around 2 seconds. (Side bar - this is where the minimum safe distance comes from...if your at least 2 seconds behind the car in front of you, you have enough distance to stop)

 

of course two seconds does not cover your own reaction time.. that is if you are paying complete attention to the road in the first place.

 

Which is probably pretty hard to do with them filming Zena all around you all the time.
