i have a squeak on the left side of my tib. when i apply the brake it goes away, everytime. its driving me nuts. just put new rotors on the back, still there. None of the pads on the front or back are to the wear bars yet. Any ideas? sad.gif

I had a sqeek until the rotors got warmed up now I just put hawk rear pads on and it went away, I changed pads because they were almost to the sqeek thing, o yea oem squeekers on the rear are on the inside, the inside pads were halfway worn but the outsides were almost gone about a mm or 2

Btw, there are some threads already about squeeky brakes... use the SEARCH function on this forum, it'll be faster to get your answers that way. smile.gif

How close are your pads to unti it's fully worn? If your pads are somehow close to to the marker anyways, just invest into getting new pads. Stay away from the cheap brands though, they will squeek for sure, also don't forget the anti-squeek gel you can put at the back of your pads... it works all the time

Lastly, bleed your brakes and check your e-brake cable after.
