Re: cuda kit
My tiburon has rear drum and front disc brakes. I want to swap the rear for disc brakes but I don't have the money or knowledge of how to do this. So, I'm asking these questions to educate myself before I start anything and see how much $$ I need to save up:
1.)What are all the components that will need to be taken off my tib and replaced with the disc brake assembly? Basically; what does the whole brake assembly consist of, is there any part that can stay and doesn't need to be replaced?
2.)Where can I find a disc brake assembly? I've been looking for used ones at junkyards and a couple of on-line used car parts sites. No luck.Is there any other options? (besides dealer) anyone have a parts tib...?
3.) How much do you think a shop would charge for the swap (if I supplied the parts)? Do I need a shop to do the swap?
thanks guys, i'm illiterate when it comes to brakes (
