just to throw in my 2 cents, I have a front strut bar that I bought used a couple years ago, but was told it was a shark racing bar. (I wish I had a better pic). The brackets were originally blue...


and though it's very stiff, and very noticable in handling, it sits high enough that it dimples the hood. I know at least one other guy here has this bar and has the same problem, so it's not just this/my bar doing this.

 

sh!t, i think i have the same one.

im gonna check and see if its hitting the hood tomorrow. never noticed it though.
