Warning were issued to everyone who posted off topic! lol

This is a strut bar thread smile.gif

Anyways, I have a sway bar sitting waiting until it gets warm again. I do have 22mm AKR swaybar. Stock GK v6 bars are 19mm, stock regular bars are 17mm or so. Eibach are actually 22 for the back and 26mm for the front I think.

Back to topic.

Please rate from best to worst bars.

AOS ($? and importshark only has evoF bars)
Mussa (still can't find the actual product and price)
Kspec $65 each
Evofusion $65 each

thanks

OP

im just gonna say this.

i could bend the kspec center bar brackets with my hands.

i wouldnt reccomend it. plus, it fit weird. barely clears the hump on the floor in front of the back seats. as in, you gotta push that sucker against it. to be able to bolt it in.

redz, dont you have an older kspec center bar?

OP, that's kinda stupid to ask, as most folks here have ONE and have never seen another. I doubt any of us have seen them ALL in person. I know I've seen the AOS (Moteria), the MOTERIA bar, and a few others. The Mussa bar looks allright, but it's not as beefy as the Moteria bar. I've never seen a Kspec front bar.

Yes, I have a Kspec.com Center bar, and yes, it's a bit different then the one in the pic on the site, it's an older model that you can't get anymore. The brackets aren't the best (My dad is custom making me some new ones), but they haven't flexed or buckled at all. I think it's because the car doesn't twist that way.

I agree with you, but strut bar is cheaper and you can *SEE* it.
BTW, I HAVE BOTH smile.gif

That's kinda why. Plus it is a direct bolt on, other than the accel. sensor relocation. Sway bars are much more work.

personally, with the greater stress you will put on the car with anti-sway bars.. I would not put them on without a good set of stress bars already in the car.

thanks guys. Last question

TIBWRC said that I can get a moteria bar from importshark, but it says that it's an evofusion bar on the website. If importshark sells the good bar, with buffy brackets then I'll get those.

AOS = www.Speedstate.com (but it looks like they only have the GK bars)

email them (Speedstate), they might still be able to get them. They are no longer listed on the site though.

And I thought REDZ said he got his MOTERIA bar from importshark, which is why I put that there. You can try emailing Tom, or posting in the IS forums.

Gotcha.

Well I'm just gonna get either evofusion or kspec bars. Which ones should I get guys?

I think evofusion looks pretty damn solid and so do the brackets, plus they are shiny and $35 cheaper smile.gif

I would go with the ksep front because there is pretty much it will flex, the car moves first

The rear will flex if you push on it perpendicularly but not thhe way the stress is comming from, that I am able to do anyway
