yea I was talking about the axle how they promote that it will fit no matter what.

The front right half shaft is the same for manual or auto.
The front left is different for manual and auto trans.

They are different but compatible. The auto has a different type of middle joint on the driver side.

How do I know they are compatible? Because a) HMA specs say they are 1/4" different length and b) others who should know have said so and c) I am currently running BOTH axles that were on my car when it was an automatic, with a standard.

Oh, and one of them is an ABS axle that Brake Specialists Plus ordered by mistake. nana.gif

Replace only the one that has failed, especially if you are paying someone else to do the work. My first one went out like 20,000 miles before the second.
