I've posted this question on new tib twice with no responce, maybe you guys can help.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am having problems with oversteering during acceleration to pass cars. The handling becomes very loose as is a normal problem with the tib. I am satisfied with the handling when accelerating is a straight line and normal cornering. Does anyone think that a 22mm rear antiroll bar will solve this problem or do you think more extreme measures will be needed. I plan on purchasing in next week or 2. Thanks.

PS Ive received more help on this site than on newtiburon.com

Yes they make a HUGE difference. Especially the front one. I am talking about sway bars of course not strut bars smile.gif

that's cuz we're better.

I'd suggest getting the whole shabagabang and go with the eibach anti-roll kit.
Includes one rear sway bar and one front sway bar (like Ultra said go with the front if you only have money for one).

You can buy it many places, one of them is flyryde.com If you have problems with the site or questions just come on back. The guy that runs that site is actually a member here : Blacktibs. Check it out. I think the whole set is 350.00 or so.

I have the 2005 gt V6 and everything I've read has stated the rear sway bar will make the most difference. Is it different with the GK tibs or is what i've read bogus. As I stated b4 I tried getting this on other forums with no replys.

which motor mounts would you suggest and where could I find them? Thanks,

Should be even more correct with the weight of the v6. Sway bars mang, all the way. Strut bars help plenty too.

For engine mounts, check www.kspec.com

Maybe I am wrong in how I am interperting your post.. but if you are having problems with oversteer.. putting a larger bar on the rear is going to make it worse.

I totally screwed up this post. I meant torque steer. I appologize. How muck would motor mounts help solve this problem along with the sway bars?

Oh! Torque steer is a different animal all together.

Honestly, the best way to cure torque steer is to sell your tib and buy a rear drive car... short of that, I recommend a limited slip differential.

A little about your car.. what rims and tyres are you running? If the offset is different from stock, with the wheels offset more towards the outside of the car, it can exagerate any torque issues you may be having.

Lowering and stiffening the suspension might help a little.. and if your car has not been aligned in a while, you might want to look into that.

And on the off chance.. how are the air pressures in your tyres. If one is lower than the other, it can cause a pull and torque steer

I have p215/45 w/ 17" rims I checked the air pressure and there fine. Offset is stock. The car only has 900 miles on it so the allignment should be a non issue. I plan on supercharging it so I want to get the suspension, braking and motor mounts up to par b4 I drop the SC in. Any recommendation on a slip diff. With the motor mounts and sway bars how much diiference would a slip diif make? The only performance upgrade so far is an aem cai.
