So I hit a median in a construction zone going 50mph because I veered to an exit too late. Bodywork is repaired but driver's side sits approximately 1 inch lower than passsengers after I measured and compared both. Driver's front and rear 17' rims are bent, tires still intact. Eibach struts and springs seem to be intact but don't feel the same. Front strut tower is bent upward and arched, you can see the speed sensor is tilted.

How much work can it be to get the strut tower bent back? Should I have it bent back? I haven't checked the rear tower. Do you think the shocks and springs are still ok, they're brand new.

Just got my new eibachs, 5speed swap, drove the car for two weeks and then this crap happened...

I suppose the question would be how much of the rest of your frame is bent.

Id say take it to a body shop, have them put it up on a frame rack, and check everything over, have them give you an estimate, then take it from there.

Wow man it seems like your car has had it rough recently since the swap lol.

Id really get the frame checked. Having a height difference like that is bad, as if you didnt know already. But get an estimate and see where that takes you!

Should be 400-500 bucks to pull the frame.

Almost as much as a new Tib, lol.

hahah, yeah that's a lot of money! yeah i fawked up.

you guys don't think there could be damage to the springs or anything? i really should have pics but i don't have a new camera. the 5speed swap is great i love it but then this shit happens and it just sort of brought me down. i thought my car was going to be finished once and for damn all.

my friend told me they would need to pull the engine out to repair it. i don't think the frame needs to be pulled out, you mean to replace it or just to see the damage?

lol.. fawk guys... drive carefully.

Well, if one side sits lower than the other, Either a sizeable portion of the suspension is out of wack and/or the frame is bent. The motor might have to go depending on what part of the frame is bent. What they do is they set it up, test it to see if its bent, and if it is, take a bigass machine and yank the frame back straight. Quite a pain in the ass.
